Terry Wells is a lifelong resident of the Village of Phoenix, Illinois.
He was elected as Village President
first in 1993, and again in 1997. He previously served ten years
as a Trustee of the Village. Until recently,
Mr. Wells worked full time as an educator at the Coolidge Middle
School, located here in Phoenix.
He now teaches History at nearby Thornton Township High School.
He holds degrees from Illinois State University, and National-Louis
University. Mayor Wells and his wife Loretta have two children.
